7/3/25-Stress

Over my life I have always tried to give the impression of being totally on top of things and having no stress at all. I tried to appear to be a pretty cool customer.
In reality I have always been wound so tight that I was on the verge of exploding at any moment. And sometimes I did explode.
I tried various methods to deal with my stress over the years. Exercise was a way to redirect stress. I would listen to music to relax. I am an admitted stress eater.
Some of those methods work better than others.
Over the past year I have learned the best way to hide stress is to not have stress to hide. It is a very stressful world, but there are some things I have realized that have really helped me lower my overall level of anxiety even though I am dealing with one of the most stressful situations in my time with cancer.
So over the next few posts I am going to do a little miniseries on ways to live a less stressful life, atleast in my view.
