7/22/25-How Dad’s Doing by Wade

Dad has really wanted to do an update since the least anyone knows of him is that he was in the hospital. But he claims to be too tired to type anything out so I guess it falls on me, Wade Wilson, pupper extraordinaire, to once again take care of it (personally I think he’s just lazy).

Anyway, Dad came home from the hospital on Sunday. He only spent one night there this time. The doctors said he had a blood clot in his abdomen that was causing blood and stuff to back up into his stomach and other organs. This caused him to have pain (plus he’s kinda a wimp). They gave him some drugs for the pain and some other drugs to thin his blood.

He seems to be doing better now that it has been a couple of days, but he keeps complaining about hating taking pills all the time. He hates medicine.

The good news is that he is under my care for the next couple of days. Dr. Wade knows what’s best. Rest (for him) and treats (for me). He is going back to work on Thursday as long as he gets some sleep and the pain stays manageable.

I know this is a short post, but these keyboards are not made for pupper paws. Maybe I can get Dad to take care of his own blog tomorrow.
